Red Line Friction Modifier and Break-In Additive is designed to reduce noise in clutch-type LSD units and to aid the proper break-in of all differentials. 4 ounce bottle.
Breaking in new differentials: Add one to two bottles to any type of gear lube to reduce temperatures by 50° F and prevent gear tooth softening.
Limited-Slip Differentials already in service: Add one bottle to prevent chatter in clutch-type limited-slip units. For perfect balance of limited-slip lockup, start with Red Line Non-Slip Gear Oil and add Friction Modifier a little at a time until chatter disappears.
