The Stage #1 rebuild is a basic street/strip rebuild of the 1990-1999 DSM AWD 5-speed transmission including an upgraded double synchro 2nd gear and necessary parts to repair 1st/2nd gear shifting issues along with all new synchros on drive gears. The replacement parts are OEM Mitsubishi parts unless stated otherwise:

Stage #6 PPG Dogbox Transmission Rebuild:

The PPG Dogbox transmission rebuild uses your supplied transmission and is converted to a full out straight cut dogbox gearset. It is the most capable gearset on the market easily handling well over 1000HP and up to 1500+WHP with all the options. It is used in all the top 7-second and 8-second manual transmission DSM race cars. It is built to be A RACE TRANSMISSION and comes standard with a spool for the center differential. There is an option to make it a 4-spider center differential with the UNBREAKABLE Beyond Redline Peformance Custom Hardened Chromoly 4-Spider Center Differential Cross-Shaft. The standard transmission would be set up as a PPG 1st/2nd/3rd/4th gearset and then either a 5th gear delete, or your supplied OEM 5th gearset and then the stock open front differential. Upgraded front differentials such as a KAAZ Super-Q clutch type or Quaife LSD or a PPG front differential Spool are options. The Boostin billet bearing plate and 300m output shaft are strongly recommended.

*We recommend the Quarter Master street flywheel 8-leg twin disk and triple disk options for this rebuild with 1″x23-spline clutch disk pack. You will need the correct length flywheel bolts, OEM TOB and TOB clip, and Competition Clutch forged clutch fork to have everything work correctly together.
