Description:
This is the strongest available straight cut dog engagement gear set on the market for the W5M33 AWD Mitsubishi Gearbox for DSM AWD, Evo 1-3, and GVR-4 applications. It does not fit in a FWD transmission case, you must use an AWD transmission case, and it does require machining modifications to the case and several internal components to have the proper fitment and should be assembled by a qualified transmission builder with experience using aftermarket gear sets. You will still require numerous OEM Mitsubishi parts to assemble the gear set which can be special ordered.
Kit Includes:
Input shaft
Intermediate shaft and 4th output gear
1/2/3/4 gears
2nd, 3rd, and 4th needle bearings
1/2 and 3/4 hub and sliders
3/4 shift fork
Center diff SPOOL
5th gear delete sleeve (you can still choose to use your OEM 5th gearset otherwise without modifications instead of the delete sleeve)
3x double roll pins
Viscous coupler delete sleeve and circlip (to retain the output shaft detent ball properly)
Installation Notes:
You will need to convert to a 1″x23-Spline clutch disk(s) to utilize the gear set. Custom single clutch disks are available as well as multi-disk clutch options.
