Warranties and terms:
*All transmission rebuilds or large scale parts orders require a minimum of 50% downpayment when services rendered begin, and the remainder in full prior to shipment of products. If the invoice reflects services rendered and parts sales, a minimum of 50% downpayment is due for the total bill when services rendered begin, and the remainder in full prior to shipment of products to customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to cover the costs of shipping and 4% Paypal fees. If the customer requests special shipping services other than USPS or FedEx Ground, the customer is responsible for the additional shipping charges in full. All custom gearsets, one-off parts, special order or JDM parts orders require 100% downpayment prior to ordering the parts. All custom gearsets, one-off parts, special order or JDM parts are NON-REFUNDABLE.
TMZ Performance, LLC. (TMZ) warrants our transmissions for normal use for a period of 1 year, three hundred sixty-five (365) days and unlimited mileage from Invoice (or Shipment) date to the original purchaser. This applies to all rebuilt transmissions and pre-built transmissions. This warranty does not cover parts that were not replaced during the rebuild, nor does it cover used replacement parts requested by the purchaser. A copy of the original invoice must be provided with any warranty request. During the warranty period, TMZ Performance, LLC will, at its discretion after inspection, repair or replace any product found to be defective in material or workmanship. TMZ Performance is not responsible for warranty or repair issues with parts or drivetrain/clutch products manufactured by other companies including Competition Clutch, South Bend Clutch, Quarter Master Clutch, AMS Performance, Beyond Redline Performance, Frontline Fabrications, Performance Autowerks or Torque Solution. All warranty claims should be through their respective manufacturer. TMZ Performance requires a 20% restocking fee on any NEW, UNUSED, UNOPENED product that is returned by the customer, and the customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Refunds will only be for 80% of the cost of the part(s) purchased, not including shipping charges or transaction fees.
TMZ’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing, replacing, or crediting at its option any part proven defective. Damage to any parts resulting from misuse, abusive or illegal driving, improper transmission gear oil usage or amount used, improper clutch or shifter adjustment, or improper transmission/clutch installation shall void this limited warranty. Final determination of the suitability of the products for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer. If you are racing or committing an illegal activity there is no warranty. Damage to any parts resulting from defects in material such as inclusions in the steel/Aluminum will not be covered under any warranty from TMZ or Mitsubishi. Any return freight charges must be prepaid by the customer. TMZ shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, that might be claimed as a result of the failure of any part, including claims for delay, injury or death, loss of profits, cost of purchase or replacement goods, claims of customers of the purchaser, labor charges, installation or use of these parts.
TMZ shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part subject to this warrantee. There is no other warranty, expressed or implied, extending beyond those set forth above. Understand that by purchasing an item or service from us you are agreeing to these terms. Every effort has been taken to insure that the transmission you have received has been built using the best parts available and assembled by highly qualified technicians. It is the customer’s responsibility to do make sure that the clutch mechanical and hydraulic assembly is in proper working order and proper adjustment. If you are experiencing any problems with your transmission do not continue to drive it and contact us immediately. In the event that you managed to cause damage to your transmission that is not covered under this warranty we will offer to make any repairs at discounted prices. We appreciate your business!
